From the moment your tour bus pulls up to the gates of Wonder Valley Ranch Resort’s scenic foothill grounds, the fun begins and never stops throughout each day and night of your stay. And while our 75-acre facility offers beautiful surroundings and endless activities, our ranch resort makes the perfect base for many exciting side trips to locations in the area.

Tour groups often are made up of lively senior citizens, ag and business groups, or foreign visitors from around the world. Many groups make the shady grounds of Wonder Valley a "destination" by itself, as the resort offers plenty to see and do. Stroll our tranquil grounds, sit by the fire and chat, or enjoy one of a variety of programmed activities offered.

The varied side trips available are another great reason for making Wonder Valley your next destination. These daily excursions away from our facility may include Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, a Wine Crush experience or Bald Eagle viewing excursion, a visit to the "Turn of the Century" downtown area of Reedley or antique shopping in Old Town Clovis, or an adventuresome walk through the intricate maze of tunnels and living rooms at the Forestiere Underground Garden.

Young At Heart: With hosted happy hours, bountiful buffet meals and great programmed activities this package is a favorite for tours staying less than three nights.

Majestic America Tour: January-March. A unique tour that showcases our majestic National Symbol, the Bald Eagle and also includes a fun and entertaining trip back to the days of the USO Stage Door Canteen shows.

Blossom Trail and Wildflower Tours: Tours arriving in late February through mid-March will be treated to orchards full of nature's changing floral production. Tours arriving late March through May will marvel at the abundance of glorious wildflowers.

Foothill Fall Frolic Tour: You’ll marvel at the beauty of this colorful time of year. This tour can also include a very special wine experience as you visit local boutique wineries and even have the opportunity to participate in an old fashioned grape stomp. The theme night for this tour offers a hilarious and unpredictable Vaudeville Review starring the zany Wonder Valley staff. Visit us over Thanksgiving and enjoy a traditional turkey dinner with special holiday entertainment.

Holiday Tours: Celebrate the holiday throughout the month of December with a traditional party, jingle-belled horse-drawn hayride, caroling and even a visit with Santa himself. The Trek to the Nation’s Christmas Tree provides an interesting and moving side trip this time of year.

A holiday theme tradition will begin in December 2010. The Christmas Court Feast and Festival will transport you back in time to the days of the Renaissance Court. While you “Eat, Drink and be Merry” with the Lord and Lady of the Court you’ll be entertained by a raucous pageant of singers, musicians and magicians that will ensure you have an evening to remember and a trip that you’ll want to repeat year after year.

New Year’s Celebration: Special holiday entertainment, New Year’s Eve Party with noisemakers, dancing, champagne and more. Watch New Year’s bowl games on our big screen TV, with buffet plus fun activities for non-sports fans. The New Year’s Eve 2011 theme event is the Fabulous Fifties! Shake out the poodle skirt or blue suede shoes and Rock Around the Clock….or at least until midnight. You’ll party with Elvis, Frankie, Buddy and Bobby as you relive the 1950’s Wonder Valley style.
